Here's another post, just finished with work, tonight kind of sucked. I hope m5media gets off the ground in a hurry as I don't know how much longer I can work in a restaurant, I do love the people though.

Anyways, I'm learning, (however slowly) to use my new digital camera (the F-828) It's a pretty sweet rig. I think I got that ftp nonsense figured out now so I can try posting a picture.

Also... changed our itinerary for "Return to Europe: 2004" again. Now we are thinking of skipping Switzerland entirely to spend more time in Turkey, which looks to be much more affordable and all around cooler to visit. We are also going to try to ferry directly from the islands to Western Turkey, then either ferry or bus it to Istanbul. More on this later...

I'll try posting a picture now and see if the blogger software resizes it? It's the pic that I put up on "hotornot.com" which is very entertaining site. Check it out and rate somebody!

Need to start writing in this blog more, just can't seem to find the time. Getting ready for my trip to Europe, tons of stuff to do beforehand.

On a good note, I did get my new digital camera yesterday, after 4 months of waiting that is. It's pretty sweet! a Sony F-828, I bought a filter kit, tripod, and macro & telephoto lens for it too. Now I just have to learn to use it before I can take some killer pictures in Europe.

Another good note, got my first (paying) contract for web design. A skatepark building company in the cities Dave Shyne has been a real please to work with, though he procrastinates a bit like all clients tend to do. I want to get his site up and running (or at least the framework for it) before going to Europe because I will be gone for 5 weeks! It's gonna be awesome...

I suppose I should let all my web readers know the itinerary:

Flying into Amsterdam on May 20th, then to Paris, France after 3 days. Next is Bern, Switzerland for a day on the way to Munich, Germany. Will spend a day in Munich followed by a next day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle then through Fussen, Germany on our way to Venice, Italy.

In Venice we just want to hang out, get some good Italian food and float around the canals I suppose. Dave wants to go diving as well as he has heard that Venice is the hotspot for diving nowadays. From Venice, we are going to go to Cinque Terre on the Italian Riviera, then on to Rome for a few days, see the sights, and then take another train to Naples. There is not much we want to do in Naples but we are using it as a jump point to the island of Capri, and also to Pompei, which is nearby.

Next, it's on to Brindisi to catch an overnight ferry to Athens. Our plans are to see the Acropolis and get out of the summer olympic madness with a possible day trip to Delphi. Then another ferry to the island of Crete to see Knossos and Heraklion. Then on to Santorini to chill out, get some beach time, and rent mopeds!

Our last part of the trip will take us back into Athens to take a bus to Istanbul, Turkey. Hang out in Turkey for a solid trip with a possible day or two to see the ruins of Troy. Whew! That's a lot to even write about. I'll post a quick pic of my new camera.
